Photography Report: Imaging Racial Capital | e-flux Criticism
An essayistic review in e-flux Criticism of three exhibitions recently held in New York by LaToya Ruby Frazier, Tina Barney, and Buck Ellison. The review situates these seemingly divergent photography-led practices (and the photographic medium itself) in relation to the contradictions of racial capital – its mutually constitutive logics of accumulation and dispossession.
